How to measure a room
- Measure the length and width of the floor at the widest points.
- Measure wall height from floor to ceiling.
- Count doors and windows (the calculators subtract standard sizes).
- For L-shaped rooms, split the room into rectangles, calculate each and add them up.
- Round up and always buy a little extra — especially tile, flooring and wallpaper, which must come from the same batch.
